JuneWe normally have an out break of nematodiris during June, so all lambs are drenched which is normally at the same time as main ewe shearing.  I also 'click' lambs which covers them until they are shorn.  Since 2009 we have been creep feeding twin lambs. This I have found greatly reduces the number of lambs we have left to fatten at the end of October. We are always short of grass and it proves to be a great pressure release. At a cost of £2 a lamb sold, I think it's some of the best money spent. With the longest day over, depression sets in!
