History

The philosophy behind our Viewfield Romneys was stimulated by New Zealand farming practices. With Kate a New Zealander herself and both of us having lived and farmed there for several years we were keen to build on that experience when we made a life changing decision to settle back in south west Scotland over 20 years ago. In 1994 we started with 30 Marshall Romney gimmers and 3 Marshall Romney shearling rams, imported from the Marshall Romney Development Group, New Zealand. The rest as they say is HISTORY.
